Attached you will find the activity you did from TheStatsMedic and the summary of what we have done in class this week. Remember, next Thursday is your unit 4 test. Be sure that you have the last hw in by Thursday for this unit.
We did a 5 for 5 and then took the quiz over section 4.2. Remember, if you do better on this quiz than the first one, I will add points to the first quiz to help your grade.
Today we did 4.2 day two. We talked about the placebo effect and how having a control group allows us to compare things to a baseline. We also looked at how to set up completely randomized experiments and created the chart to show you what goes on. Be sure that you are completing the reading as we go so that you know what we are doing in class. We have our second quiz Thursday...HW is due then as well!
Today we talked about 4.2 part 1. Attached you will find the lesson and guided notes to help you read. Remember that you will have a quiz Thursday over 4.2. HW is also due then!
Today we took our first quiz over unit 4.1. You then started into the guided notes for 4.2. Attached you will find the guided notes that we will talk about Monday!
We talked about the ending part of 4.1. We went through the rest of the notes and then talked about the task with the mayor and Boy Scout. Attached you will find the notes. We then started into a practice quiz for the real quiz tomorrow. Remember, take your time. Use key words for each answer. Check the answer key for the quiz below so that you know how to do #7.
Today we finished up the guided notes and then started into the second part of it. The pages we started are located on yesterdays post as one big file. Friday I will upload the answers that we put in the documents each day.
HW - due Friday! |
As we go through items in this course, I will add to this daily. Be sure that you keep up with what we do each day in class so that you are ready for the AP Test in May...which is really not too far away!Archives
